Merry Meet all just thought I would post this snippet of information for you.

This is about spells and how they work.

There are two types of magick we can use in spells, one is 'sympathetic' because it uses one symbol to represent a person and another symbol to represent the desired outcome. For example: candles may be used to represent a person needing help, we rub the candle with healing oil and think about the person we want to receive the healing. The candle is the first symbol and the oil is the second symbol.

The second type of smagick is 'empathic' where a part of the object stands for the whole. You can use a persons hair, their signature or some item of theirs to represent them. We believe that a psychic bond exists between the person and the item.

Hope you can understand this as it will help when making up your own spells.

Hugs
Rowan
