A friendly hello to everyone. I'm 32 years old, I'm new to magick and after so many years I decided to learn this knowledge. I began to try things by myself and I feel that the spells I did on my own didn't work at all. After reading the newbie central, tips and the faqs I decided to seek orientation. I have a couple of questions that I would really appreciate any help.

1)As a newbie what things and category should focus on first?(Black magick, white magick, etc...)

2)Which types of spells should I focus first?(Love,spiritual,luck, etc...)

3)Which spells and rituals are good to build up my magical energy and power?

4)What do I need before casting a spell?

5)How do I clean or purify myself and what do I need to perform this?

Anything else that comes into your minds let me know, it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance
