So I would not necessarily call myself a Kitchen Witch, neither would I say that I even cook anything, however i do enjoy very much the fragrance of different herbs and spices with mint being my favourite. I leave the cooking to Mum.

So I'm very familiar with the more common type of herbs and spices that just about everyone has in their cabinets. If not all, I'm sure that there are some that one could identify with and the daily use of it.
I believe and I'm sure that you would probably agree, that every herb and spice has more than just a use of cooking and adding into food. It has healing properties, it has health benefits and also it contains a sprinkle of Magick added to it by Mother Nature Herself. So as we use lots of spice and herb, I decided to learn abit more about the Magickal properties because I have been hearing about it's healing benefits and health benefits forever. Which by the way, I am so grateful to them.

So here is the Magickal benefits to the more common spices and herbs that we all probably have in our cabinets at home.

Star Anise - clairvoyance, luck, power and banishing evil.
Sage - Wisdom, longevity, wishes, ceremony and purification.
Thyme - wisdom, healing, love, courage.
Chilli pepper - banishing, hex breaking, passion.
Oregano - joy, travel, creativity, love.
Cardamom - love and lust, charm, mental clarity.
Cinnamon - love, spiritually, psychic power.
Clove - good luck, love, wealth attracting, stop gossip.
Garlic - repels negativity, banishing, protection, healing.
Basil - love, luck, abundance, exorcism.
Bay leaf - success, wishes, strength.
Ginger - strength, power, prosperity, relationship success.

So I'm sure your herb and spice cabinet now, will not just be a 'cabinet' anymore because every time you look at it or reach into it, you will surely feel the Magick and you will know that you are touching Natural Magick.
