Some covens are led by a Priest, a Priestess, or sometimes both. As for Spell Casters, there is no Priest or Priestess. When coven leaders become inactive for more than a month, the coven is able to be led by someone else. How this is done is by having an account that is three months or older, not being in any coven currently, and going to the bottom of the coven page. It should give you the option to lead apply to lead a coven.
Before doing so, make sure you are an active member on the site. Someone who makes frequent forum posts, helps people, goes in chatter, and has a good reputation. Once you apply, you can't ever apply again.
Within the coven, there are three levels of authority:
High Priest/Priestess: These are the heads of the coven. They make sure things run smoothly within the coven. They can edit the front page, add or remove members, add or remove council, and add or remove another leader. Along with these, they are able to lock, sticky, and delete forum posts within their own coven.
Council: These are the next in line authority wise. They are able to delete, sticky and lock threads within their own coven forum.
Members: These are just members. They can delete their own forum posts within their coven.
Different covens focus on different things. One might focus on Wicca, whereas another might focus on Norse Heathenism. It all really depends on what the people in the coven know.
I will probably add more later. Thank you for your time. :)
