Personal Bio
I've been vegetarian since May 2008. I think meat in general tastes horrible (I'm one of many Americans that won't eat things they don't like) and after learning more about the US meat industry I don't think I could ever go back to eating meat. It just seems too...horrible. Not to mention my health has gotten a lot better since I decided to stop eating meat. The health benefits to be alone would have kept me from eating it. I don't mind others eating meat as long as they don't harass me about my diet or start telling me how unhealthy it is for me to be vegetarian despite what I know to the contrary. Not to mention it's a lot better for the planet.
Music is a HUGE part of my life. Without music I don't know where I would have ended up, probably in a random gang somewhere. I now only listen to music though I did play the violin for a few years. It seems that I could never get past the infinite basics though they were always the simplest things to learn for me. If I were to learn to play anything now it would be the piano. Space and money have kept me from learning it, more so with the price of the instrument.
I tend to read a lot. I'm sure in the long run I'll have every possible wall space covered in bookshelves filled with books. Library book sales are the most popular place for me to get my books right now. They aren?t in the best condition ever when I get them but its better than buying them brand new from a store. Someone who?s a huge environmentalist might tell me its greener, too.
I adore horror movies. Its pretty much all I watch these days. I'm not sure why these movies have such an attraction but they do. It seems I'm finding new ones all the time and occasionally find ones that no one has heard of. It seems fun to be able to find them, even if it means I randomly saved them from a five dollar bin at Wal-Mart. How I keep finding good ones that way I'm not sure.
