Basics on Energy

Energy is categorized into two main groups Order and Chaos. Both of these fundamental groups are then subdivided three times to include: Charged Positive, Neutral and Charged Negative Energy. Subsequently each of these are then classified to be either Internal, or Universal Energy.
Finally Internal Energy is broken down to be either Aural, or Centre Energy . Our physical plane, is created by and exists within Order Energy. Physical matter is created by Order Energy; however Chaos Energy may create matter for short durations. Order Energy is structured, evolved, and has a set of rules that must be followed so that sanity may be kept.

The techniques within the Psi Palatium deal exclusively with Order Energy and its rule set. Chaos Energy is much more dangerous to us than is Order Energy.
The main reason is that Chaos Energy follows no set rules, and leads to insanity and entropy. All Order beings should steer clear of Chaos Energy and never under any circumstances
internalize any.

Charged Positive Energy can only be described as happy, pleasant energy. There is no evil in it and so it is a very stable and strong energy. Although Neutral Energy is preferred Charged Positive Energy is one that many people use for the sheer joy that it is able to bring to life. All the good things in life stem from this energy.

Most associated with black magick, and evil people Charged Negative Energy is the dark side of the energy plane. Although it is not a stable energy, because it feeds upon itself, it is a common energy if only because it is quick power.
Those that use Charged Negative Energy are not immune to its effects and so often die young, and miserable. This type of energy may not be as dangerous as Chaos Energy,
but I would still caution one to shun it.

Neutral Energy is natural state energy in its most potent form. This is energy that has not been tainted with 'emotion' and feeling. Ideally Neutral Energy is the type one should aim at using while working with psi. The colours most often associated with it are grey, silver, and in higher form gold.

Universal Energy, also referred to as External Energy,
is energy that is not found within, or belonging to a living being. This energy is used to perform magic and hybrid psi. It is energy that swirls around us at all times and is all things that are not animate. Internal Energy is any energy that is within, or belongs to a living being. This energy is used for all things psychic and is unique to each being.

Internal Energy is categorized into two main parts: Aural Energy, and Centre Energy. Aural Energy is energy that all living things radiate from their bodies through general life
processes. It is also a way to rid yourself of excess energy that has been internalized, which is a big part in why strong psychics have such strong auras.

Centre Energy, or Soul Energy, does not change from the day you are born to the day you die. It will ebb and flow like any energy, but stays the exact same, and so one can always tell who it is by their Central Energies. Centre Energy is also the energy that makes us conscious, living, and alive.

Universal Energy

Before it is possible to manipulate Universal Energy (UE) one must understand how it functions, and interacts. UE is not internalized energy; however it does interact, and surround everything. Since this energy is external to the body it can not be ''willed'' into performing the desired
task. Instead, one is able to control UE only after they have the truth, knowledge and power of the situation.

The easiest analogy to understanding UE is that of the
Triangle of Power. The Triangle of Power is an equilateral triangle with vertices marked TRUTH, KNOWLEDGE, and POWER. This triangle explains, in general, how UE operates. In order to manipulate UE one must first hold the KNOWLEDGE of what it is they want to know, or do. That is the first point of the triangle.

The second point, TRUTH, is a slightly harder concept to grasp. In order to hold the TRUTH corner one must already have the TRUTH of the KNOWLEDGE. Let me explain. When one knows something it means nothing, and has no useful purpose, until one knows if it is truth or not. The TRUTH in almost every instance is that there is the ability to do what one wishes, or that what is the expected outcome is truly wanted.

Thus the TRUTH of the KNOWLEDGE. Once those two points are achieved the third vertex, POWER, is automatically gained. With all three points the ability, and the power to achieve the goal are both present. That is what the Triangle of Power is meant to convey. To manipulate UE one must have the KNOWLEDGE of what they wish to do, and the TRUTH of completion to have any effect on External Energies.

If you want the UE surrounding you to radiate your happiness your KNOWLEDGE would be simply that. Your TRUTH would be that you are indeed happy, and wish the UE to reflect this. The sticking point here is that you must believe this TRUTH yourself. There are exceptions to this rule, but believing your TRUTH makes things a lot easier. With the TRUTH, and KNOWLEDGE you now have the POWER to manipulate the UE the way you wish to.

(But it MUST be the same sort of manipulation that you hold the
KNOWLEDGE, and TRUTH to. You can't know you're happy, have the TRUTH about your happiness, and manipulate UE to radiate unhappiness. It just doesn't work that way.)

Once you have the TRUTH, KNOWLEDGE, and POWER it becomes relatively simple. You ASK, or COMMAND the Universal Energies. But to command takes practice, focus, and some IE intervention (I'll get to Hybrid PSI in a moment). So, you ASK the energies to do what you wish to accomplish.

With the POWER there is no problem. If you don't have the full triangle though this won't work, but you can have an unfinished triangle and command it. To command UE, to do as you wish, you must get your own IE involved (this is a grey area between Psi, and magick referred to as HYBRID PSI). First you must ''will'' your Internal Energy to do what you are trying to get the UE to do. As you continue this you must focus on the Universal Energies, and command them to follow your energy's lead. When doing this it usually helps to make the command verbal, if only to focus. Once the command is made concentrate all of your IE into doing what you are trying to get the UE to do, and the UE will join.

It is a sort of commanded follow the leader game. This too is where the exception to not being able to do opposites of the TRUTH comes in too, but one has to be incredibly skilled to be able to do an UNTRUTH, so I'll leave it up to you to explore. I would recommend beginning your attempts with manipulation by asking, so you can get the hang of the TRUTH of the KNOWLEDGE, but once you have that down it is much easier to manipulate with command.

This ability to supplement your own IE with the strength of UE tends to increase tremendously everything you were able to do before, and brings within reach things you may not have been able to do. Take levitation as an example. Most people do not harbour enough IE to be able to levitate. With the help of UE it is entirely possible, because there are no bounds to the amount of energy held by UE. It should be noted here the it is generally accepted that energy is all interconnected. These ''energy threads'' as they are referred to are what allows manipulation of Universal
Energies.

Internal Energy

As described in types of energy there are two different forms of IE:

Aural Energy - conscious, waking energy
Centre Energy - soul, central, or driving energy - responsible for subconscious, and sleeping actions

There are two VERY important differences in these energies:

Aural Energy changes with moods, environment, and health. Aural Energy is the IE affected by the interaction with other people, thus giving some people the feeling of attack, and a person's general ability to sense another person's mood. Soul Energy is not changeable. It does not matter how much a person changes on the outside they are still driven by the same Centre Energy.

This is not to say that certain individuals can't seem to change by masking their inner drive with enough strong Aural Energy. Even when a person can mask their Soul Energy it never lasts. Aural Energy is always given off, or
radiated outwards. It is the waste energy from the life processes.

The radiation of energy is why most people that are able to see people's auras describe them as strong around the body, and streaking away, or blurring, after a short distance. Constantly radiating Aural Energy takes a lot of work, and so to recharge we sleep. During normal sleep periods Aural Energies are healed, and recharged, and readied to go another day.

Centre Energy, on the other hand, is radiated from the Energy (Soul) Centre to all parts of the body. From the body the energy is recycled back to the Soul Centre to be neutralized, and reused. If this process were 100% efficient we would live forever, but alas it is not. Over time enough Soul Energy is lost to the universe that it can no longer feed the body, and the body dies. When this happens the Soul Energy is released, and joins the Universal Energies to recharge, and re-ready itself. The only way to see a person's Soul Energy is to look within them.

So, now you know what Internal Energy is, what it is for, and why it is needed. Now we can start in learning the steps to IE manipulation. All energy is meant to be neutral, and is the most potent in this form. Everyone has probably heard the phrase, ''He/She has really negative energy/vibes,'' at some point in their lives. This person has a lot of charged negative energy eminating from them (Aural level). This person would have a real time trying to use their IE, because it is so charged.

First step to this is IE neutralization. Think of this as a spring cleaning for your IE. You must first move all of you Internal Energy either to the top or bottom half of your body. You do this by willing it to go there (since IE is part of you your will is the way). Next you must visualize a screen across your midsection. Make the holes in this screen as small as possible, and create one pathway from this screen, on either sides of you, away from your body so that the charged pieces can be eliminated (That's two pathways altogether). When you have your screen in place will all of your IE across the screen. This should feel very liberating, and can have the following effects:
fainting, spontaneous laughter, a ''high'' feeling. These effects are only temporary however, and do not occur when you are used to this procedure. You may also notice the charged bits flying away from you as you do this. Don't be alarmed by this. Repeat this entire process three or four times, to ensure you are fully neutralized, and you are ready for the next step.

During the neutralization process some Internal Energy is
inevitably lost to the outside. If it is not replaced, over time, your life expectancy can shortened. For this reason intaking energy is a critical skill to learn. When you are full of neutral Internal Energy the next step is to begin to move this energy around your body, and concentrate it in different areas. This ability is needed for self healing, and various other techniques. To move your IE visualize, and will your IE to move within your body. Concentrate your IE in your right hand, then move it to your left hand. Then try a foot, or your knee. Soon you will get the feel of how to do this quickly, and precisely. Don't worry if at first you can't focus it all in one place, that is perfectly normal. It all comes with practice (which I can never stress enough).

Manipulating IE:

Begin breathing deeply, and rhythmically. This is controlled breathing, and is crucial for the beginner to associate with.
The usual way to do this breathing is in through the nose hold for a count of three then exhale through the mouth. Now, outstrech your dominant arm, and put your palm face up. Will your Internal Energies to focus in your dominant palm. Visualize the warm, colourful energies moving from all parts of your body to focus, in your dominant palm.
You should feel the energies radiating from your palm, and perhaps feel the warmth. Slowly bring your nondominant hand palm down overtop of your other hand, keeping them 8 to 10 inches apart. Begin to slowly move your nondominant hand towards your dominant palm, until they rest one on the other. Keeping your fingertips together lift your palms apart, and allow some IE to flow into your nondominant hand. Equalize the amounts of IE in both your palms. Now allow the energies to flow back into your body. That is how to manipulate IE

Energy Threads

Because of the nature of existence all energy is interconnected. Energy eventually comes together at a central point in existence producing a commonality
within all energy. (Incidentally this central joining of all energy is Pure Energy's equivalent to a/the God(s))

Although all energy has common factors it is split and
categorized to make it easier to understand (Psychism - Basics of Energy). There are three main types of energy threads associated with our plane and existence.
They are: Power, Knowledge, and Truth. Each thread corresponds to and starts from a vertex of the Power Triangle and of our plane of existence. The energy threads are wound throughout our plane and existence and connect everything.

Every living being is connected directly to one of the three energy threads and can be referred to as being ''On such and such a thread.'' All non-living things are surrounded by
Universal Energy, but are created or made from one of the three threads and so can also be referred to as being associated with a thread.
A person's association with an energy thread governs greatly what their natural abilities will be and what their natural ability cap will be. A person associated with the
Truth thread is more likely to be a natural healer. Someone associated with the Knowledge thread is more likely to be a natural empath and clairvoyant. Those associated with the Power thread are likely to be natural telepaths and have a higher natural ability to manipulate energies.

Where a person/object is located on the thread is directly related to that person's energy level. The closer to the vertex of the Triangle a person is on the thread the more
energy they are able to internalize and use. A person that is low on the thread will not be able to focus enough energy on a task to achieve tk whereas as person high on a thread will have enough energy to achieve almost anything. Association with being high on a thread
is usually given to those considered masters.

Note: Universal Energy is everywhere in existence and is one of the three thread types. When intaking energy it is usually beneficial, but not necessary, to intake from a thread of your associated type.

Sensing Energy: The Five Senses

To identify energy correctly uses your five common senses as well as psychic ability. To begin with all energy has a smell. The smell is different for each type of energy and
greatly depends on what that energy is to be used for. The smell of an electric spark is different from that of the energies just before a spring rain. Unfortunately I can not say exactly what energy smells like since it is different for everyone, but to me it brings to mind heat waves from an asphalt road in the summer. The smell I associate with those heat waves is the same smell I associate with energy.

Being able to see energy becomes more important the further into advanced techniques that you go. Energy, oddly enough not only smells like heat waves, but also looks like it. The waves of energy swirl and have many different colours depending on the energy's origin.
Unlike heat waves from a road though energy does not only rise, but can travel in any direction. To see energy you must first relax yourself and then look at an object or person that gives off a lot of energy. When looking at your energetic object look just off to the side of it and unfocus your eyes while remaining aware. After you are relaxed enough you will begin to see the clear waves of energy emanating from your object. Continue until you are able to see the different colours of the energy. At this time you should be able to refocus your eyes and still be able to see the energy from your object. This technique will work for any object that gives off energy, or that disrupts energy.

Hearing energy is one of the easiest things to do. Energy is everyone, and everything, so that if you stop and listen you can hear energy in action. The important thing would be to be able to hear a build up of energy. To do this think of the sound a flash capacitor makes while it charges. That is the exact sound that a build up of energy makes only it is far softer and one must know what to look for. For this only practice will help.

Touching, or feeling energy is relatively easy. Bring your index fingers together leaving only a gap of perhaps a centimetre. Focus your attention on the ends of your fingers and rapidly you will feel your fingertips get warm and tingly. That is the sensation of energy rushing to your fingertips as you focused on them. Get aquainted with the feeling of energy, especially your own, so that you will be aware when something is amiss.

There isn't much call for one to taste energy, but I suppose if it were to be explained the best description would be bittersweet. To taste energies simply get close to a place of great concentration of energy open your mouth and taste. It is important to know how to sense energy because when you are actually using the techniques it is nice to know if you are succeeding or not!

Auras and Living Flow

All living things radiate energy during everyday activities.
Plants, as well as animals use energy, and so they too have auras.
Internal Energy is used to create thought, motion, and a whole host of other necessary biological processes. Not all of the energy is consumed, and thus some is radiated outwards. This outward "spray" is what gives living things their auras. Auras can be any colour, and any distance from the living being, but usually do not extend further than 80cm (3ft) from the body. Auras may change their colour from day to day, hour to hour, or minute to minute. This is mainly caused by the actions of the individual radiating the energy.
If someone is healing another person their aura may tinge green, or blue to reflect this.
If the person becomes angered their aura may tinge red, and so on, and so forth. Please keep in mind the above are colours as I relate to them, and will not always match your interpretations.
To see an aura the easiest way to start out is to look at a mirror reflection of yourself, and then slowly look just to the right, or left of your reflection. When you are centred, and grounded correctly you will see faint colours in the air surrounding your body.
The colours may appear as faint colourings of the air, ribbons, or true vibrant colours.
Any combination of these will be your aura. As you get good at this you will be able to work this technique with other living things, and eventually be able to see auras without concentration. Get to know your colours, and knowing another person's aura can help you figure out their mood, or character without having to ask! It saves a lot of heart ache.
Natural flow of energy, in the body, is clockwise.
All energy that flows throughout your body moves in a circular path centred around your midsection. If your energy flow is blocked then you are likely to get sick in that area, or have damaged that area of your body in some manner. The natural cylce duration depends how far away from the centre you are. Close to the centre the cycle may take only seconds, while out at the furthest points of the body the cycle may take as long as 10 minutes. A person's energy cycle also slows down with age, so a toddler's cycle will be much faster than a senior citizen's.


Intaking Energy

This procedure is the taking in, or internalizing of already neutral Universal Energy, and making it your own IE. The actual intake of the energy can happen in many different places on people, so I will give just an overview of the technique. First set up your screen over the area you wish to bring in the UE (Intaking through the solar plexus area is usally preferred). When your screen is set begin intaking the UE, this is usually accomplished by willing UE to enter your body (this is one of the only times that willing UE works). You will again see the charged energy bits flying off to either side of you, and will begin to feel full of energy. When you are finished intaking energy you MUST ground yourself. I can't stress this to you enough. GROUNDING after intaking is crucial. This is because you can inadvertently take in too much energy, and make yourself sick. Grounding makes sure you have the correct amount of internalized.


Grounding Energy

Grounding is one of, if not the most overlooked psi technique. Simply, it involves re-connecting to the Earth, so that excess energy can be released. When too much psi energy is held within the body it is just like a static charge on something. That energy wants to get back to equilibrium by getting back to the ground. If you harbour more energy than you are safely able to internalize for long periods of time
you can do irrepairable damage to your physical organs.
Grounding outside is preferrable to doing it inside, but either will work. To ground yourself outside simply touch the ground with the flat of your palms. It is preferrable to lay your dominant palm down first and then your non-dominant palm. Sometimes you will feel the energy leave your body, kind of like a static shock. When indoors visulaize a cord, or root of energy travelling from your energy centre to the centre of the Earth. This connection from your energy centre to that of the Earth's will also accomplish grounding without actually touching ground.

Centring Energy

This technique involves the connection of your central, and aural energy pools with your
physical body. To do this locate where in you your soul energy pool is. Usually it is found just below the chest area. Next locate your aural energy pool. It is located within your head. Once that is done connections must be made with each one. First: visualize connections from one energy pool to the other.
Second: visualize a connection from the base of the spine (base focal point) to your aural energy pool. Third: visualize connections from the connection made in step two to the energy focal points of the upper body. Centring your energy allows both the best connection with yourself, but also serves to tune you to the Universal Energies surrounding you. It also allows for the destruction of energy blockages, forgotten connections, and healing. You should make sure you are centred at least once every day. Try to get into the habit of centring before getting out of bed in the morning, and just after dinner in the evening.

Energy Signatures

Everything is energy, the ground, the air, the light, and energy interacts with other energy trading characteristics or picking up new, totally foreign, traits. This interaction of energies is the focus of energy signatures. All living things radiate energy in the form of an aura and no-living objects displace universal energy enough to have a non-radiated aura around them. When auras come together they interact with one another and in so doing leave distinct patters and marks on eachother. These patterns that are obviously foreign to the aura they exist on are resultant energy signatures from interaction with other energy. So, how is this useful? When a person is able to see auras or even fell them they can spot the areas where interation has ocurred and if the new/foreign energy pattern is familiar they can tell who that person, or object has had contact with.
An energy signature will dissipate with time. The duration of the energy signature depends on the strength of the original energy. Signatures can be taken off an aura through aural cleansing, or they can be avoided altogether through shielding against such aural interaction. Each energy signature is unique, like a fingerprint, and each signature for its duration holds a very thin thread back to its original source. This small connection with the creation energy can be traced (one that is able to do this is usually of master level) back to its origins to see who, or what each interaction has been. Essentially energy signatures are energy left behind by common, or psychic everyday interactions.


Identifying People by Energy

This often, but not always, holds true to technique for identifying those people that are non-learned, naturally gifted, and learned psychics. Everyone has an aura. The aura is thrown off from the body and so frames it in energy (a glow, or halo). This aura is normally just a soft glow of energy that surrounds the body to a maximum of a few inches. A person with such an aura is more than likely someone that has not tapped into their psychic self. A psychic aura is usually much stronger and more vibrant than a non-psychic's and tends to extend farther from the body. A give away that someone is psychic are shields. This does not count the wispy subconscious shields, but refers to conscious bubble, or defensive shielding. A person with a shield is learned enough in psi to have visualized the intent. There is one problem with this method of identification and that is in psychic's that are many times stronger than yourself. Strong psychics that mask themselves will render their energy almost invisible to you. In these cases you must feel for the amount of energy they give off, like a pressure, since most masks do not cover the ability to touch with psi. The other option would be to use your sense of smell in psi. A person with a lot of energy being given off will carry the psychic smell of energy/power with them. There are ways to mask for these, but it is uncommon to do so. This technique does not constitute an invasion of privacy since it is like looking at a person physically. It can be done without permission as long as no psychic, or physical connection is made with the other person. Remember to obtain permission if you are going to connect in any way with a person since scanning, or connecting without permission,is in poor taste.

Energy Interaction and Intent Erosion

To fully understand psi is to truly see why each interaction that happens in existence is important. Every thread of energy that exists whether it be created, modified or destroyed must on some level interact with other energies. (An energy thread in this case refers to any piece of energy that has intent. Science says energy can not be created or destroyed only changed into different forms. This is what is referred to when threads are said to be created, or terminated, their energy is simply stopped, focused elsewhere, or the intent behind them ceases.) A psychic, or magickian must see, feel, taste, or in some way sense the existence. Detailed analysis of exactly what is happening at what point is not needed as long as there is knowledge of the generalities of interaction.
As an example: Creating a healing intent with energy to remotely heal a person. As the energy thread is first created from you with intent it passes through your aura and picks up some aspects of whatever energy you are radiating at the time. The thread must then wind its way through existence where it interacts with other threads of intent and areas of non-intent charged energy. When it finally reaches the other person it must go through their aura and begin its original intent. The main problem with all of this interaction is that it erodes the intent and power of the thread, so it may have started strongly, but gone unnoticed when it reached the target. So, is that it or are there ways to keep the strength of the original intent? Actually there are several different methods, three of which we'll discuss here. The first method is the easiest, and most common and brings us back to seeing the interactions of threads. If an intent is created to send another person healing energies then allowing the thread to pass, or interact with negative, or hurtful energy will erode the intent. The way around this is to, through visualization, steer the energy thread around or away from interactions with eroding forces on its way to the target. This creates longer sweeping energy threads, but because there is less erosion interaction the intent when it reaches the target is much stronger. With this method it is expected that 70-80% of the intent stays intact as opposed to the 10-30% without steering the thread.
The second most common method of holding onto original intent is to shield the thread from interactions. This is an intent driven visualization, but takes a great deal of energy needed to keep from draining yourself. The shield works a lot like the plastic around electrical wires. With the plastic on there is little danger with your interaction with the wires, but with the plastic shielding off the wire interactions become increasingly hazardous. The third method to send energy without as much interaction is to create an actual connection with someone. In this manner the connection is the piece that interacts while the energy sent along it is left almost totally alone. Remember that connecting with anything is different than sending threads as connections require consent before proceeding; however it is considered proper etiquette to ask and receive permission before sending energy threads to anyone. In the long run seeing the interactions of energy can increase the efficiency of your psi, and reduce the worries that for some reason your psi intents aren't working. Please remember to keep the energy balances as level as possible in your techniques to reduce non-intent pools of charged energy in existence.

Energy Review

What is energy? Where does it come from? How is it used in Psi? All of these are questions
that should be addressed when deciding on both the path one takes through psi and the techniques that will be used. Energy is everything. That statement even encompasses what science thinks as energy (electromagnetic, electrical, gravitational) to be of a smaller universal form of energy. All things are made of the same energy, but in differently ordered patterns and travelling at differing speeds. The biggest difference between you and the chair you sit in is that your energy is ordered slightly differently than the energy that is the chair. If this weren't the case you would be a chair too and you wouldn't be reading this. So, energy is the building block .. the key essential piece that makes up everything else, and in doing so binds all things together. This common underlying energy bond is what makes psi possible. If everything weren't connected through their common energy bond than the mind would not be able to affect other energy. Energy comes from both within and outside of us. The origins of energy I will not hazard a guess at since the speculation is too great, but what we do know is that there are different energies (categorized) internal to our bodies. Science has shown there to be an actual central energy (soul) a driving force of energy behind our life processes. This energy is centralized in the body's trunk. A person's central, or soul energy is used exclusively by the body to run everyday life processes (to keep you alive). In this process soul energy is consumed until there is no longer enough to fire the furnace of life and the body dies as a result. The remaining soul energy is released to the universal and may either stay concentrated in a "spirit" form, or dissipate to mingle and join with other energy (the latter being more common). The other internal energy is aural energy. Aural energy is centred in the head and is radiated energy. It is the energy given off by the life processes like exhaust by a car. But , aural energy is not useless .. far from it .. aural energy is the kind that we harness in order to perform psi. Normally excess amounts of aural (exhaust) energy is radiated from the body forming an aura of energy streaking away from the body, but if this energy is instead focused into a different task then we can harness it and not waste it. Aural energy is also the only one that is able to leave the body (soul energy is internal only), and so creating external psi events is critical to using aural energy. This all means that central/soul energy is used exclusively by the body to sustain life and that the waste energy (aural energy) is used by us to create psi events. How exactly though is aural energy used in psi? Almost all paths through psi have very similar techniques for actually performing psychism and so these are not the problem to learn. What takes time is getting to a point where you have enough energy internalized to create psi events yourself. The aural energy pool expands naturally as a person uses more and more energy from it. Intaking to it also helps to replenish any energy you may have used up. Usually the process of accomplishing psi is: centre - intake - psi event - ground. This process allows for the maximum amount of energy and connectivity while creating psi goals. Energy interacts with other energy in order to create your psi outcome. This interaction of energies is exactly how energy is used during psi. Without this specific energy interaction and the underlying connection of everything being energy psi would not be possible.
