Spell to strengthen trust

Alright, so my boyfriend and I have a great relationship, but he's convinced that, due to his past and stuff, it's best for him not to trust, not to love, etc..

I don't want to interfere with his free will, I would just love a spell or ritual or anything to make him feel more.. comfortable. More relaxed. That would convey to him (as I've already tried words and they haven't done much) that I truly love him and that he can open himself up to me without concern.

If anyone's got something NON INTERFERING that would help, I'd appreciate it a lot. I don't want to force him to love me, as I said, I just don't want his... paranoia? unwarranted cautiousness? etc to ruin the possibility of a real, long lasting relationship. He keeps holding himself back, and it'll cut the life of this relationship a lot shorter than it has to be if it's not stopped.
