Are you really that insecure of a male that this bothers you? I have been called a man on this site more times than can count on all my fingers and toes. I happen to be a lady though my self confidence comes across as mescaline to so many they asume I am a male. My advice learn to deal with it.
It's mostly because of your picture Sabata. Many people assume someone's a certain sex by their picture or the way you talk.
I also agree with everyone else that has posted before me. Just deal with the fact either that or change your picture. Other than that I don't know what to tell you.
I get that a lot too with my username. People think I am a female. The thing is, this site isn't a dating site so who cares if you are male or female? If someone specifically messes up your sex, just politlely correct them or ignore it.
So, you have a male dressed as a female on your profile...
Shouldn't that say something as to why everyone seems to think you are a female?
Anywho, I personally have been called a man many many times on this site. I honestly don't care because I know what my gender is, and it doesn't bother me to have my gender confused really because well, to be honest I don't feel gender matters all that much. So what? Someone called you she instead of he, it's just language, it's just words.
Not everyone looks at profiles, and not everyone looks at forums, so this little complaining fest that you aren't a female is totally useless. If people don't read your profile, what makes them read your forum post?
I would also like to add that Sabata ends with an a, and many female names end with a's, whereas male names end with o's (in Spanish at least).
When interacting with others online you should know that there will be issues of gender confusion at some point, and that it will probably happen again, unless males pick very masculine names and pictures and act very masculine, whereas females do the same with feminine names, pictures, and actions/words.
Personally, I'm gonna keep doing what I've always done, act how I wish to, use names that have great meaning to me regardless of gender, and use pictures I love and can identify with. ;)
