Shilds

Our shilds protect us when we are under attack.

But we could take a lesson from the Roman Army.
Back in the days of the Roman Empire the men
carried shilds. Not little shilds like we see on TV , but enormus shilds.
According to history they were 4 foot wide and 8 foot tall and would shild the persons hole body.
However when the army as a hole was under attack, the shilds were locked together to form a wall.
With this mighty army the wall would go on for miles and therefore proventing any attacks from the eniemy.

Just think about it, how poweful we would be if we lock our shild together and make a wall around our family.

I just spoke with Belza she thinks that this will work. But we are going to start with the Council. She wants us to set a time that all the council can be on at the same time. And we will link together she said for those that dont know how yeat that the ones that do will help you conect. This will make us stronger. And Belza realy needs this right now. Everyone send her your love.

The formation was called "testudo (tortoise) formation"

But the most effective defense formation was the phalanx, used by the spartans.
Simply because the romans could be easily flanked and carrying those giant shields would also compromise their movements and the use of it as a weapon.
Shield bash anyone??
