Burning spell!

Can a anyone tell me a burn spell. Not the ones that will burn your enemies directly. The ones you put on objects so that anyone that touches it will get burned or at least get sores on their hand.

uh, i dont know if thats possible. i doubt it though. why dont do a protection or ward off spell? i doubt that you can make your hand burning hot...

Why do you want to hurt people?

I don't hurt people. They keep stealing my stuff, I have no choice.

then report them to the relevant authorities, or better still why not talk to them and explain how you feel? there is never any reason to hurt anyone in my opinion.

If you already know how to make an object catch on fire, then what you're asking for is as simple as applying a "trigger" to the enchantment you place on an object. But be careful, fire is dangerous and often unpredictable.

I wouldn't say that there is any way to make an object literally catch on fire via magic. Or a person that touches said object.
I personally think it would be easier to cast at the person directly, so that whenever they do steal, something bad happens. If you don't know the person who is doing it, I would make something like a spell tag and place it among the objects that you desire to guard. And amulet, or even just some dried herbs or stones would work.
