fantasy spells

ok, just to get one thing clear, most of us know that the fantasy spells on here do NOT work, right?

i sure hope so. i don't get why they weren't deleted. they use to be, now they have there own category? it's not helping our case when we tell people they cannot become a vampire, or mermaid, or whatever. myself, i'm a little insulted, i study dragon magick, i've looked at each spell, only 2 or 3 seem accurate. to have so many false spells there is laughable, but i am rather upset people think this

i love were-wolfs, but no one can cast a spell to become one. you are born or you are not. even those born were-wolves don't physically transform. same with vampires, there is not dracula blood suckers that burn in the sun, turn to bats, and hate garlic. could go on, but i won't.

if you want my advise, if you love something, study it, incorporate the mythos into your magic, don't try and become it, or claim you did, it's insulting.

The people posting it are probably doing it just for entertainment purposes. You know its fun to pretend sometimes. :)

Actually the idea of such category is very clever .
Now all fluffs that we can stop to post spells have exact place where to go to post this spells ,rather that messing around with all categories and creating more fuss and confusion .Serious practicioners will be put off from the title immediately and navigate thier attention elsewhere .After all editors and moderators will need to put enourmous effort to delete all fluff spells if they decide they are about to do so and even so people will keep posting them .It gives the spellbook more structure and organisation that we had before .
And yes it is rather for entertaning purpuses ,serious practicioner will be able to tell straight away .As for the kids they will learn by experience that not all that flies in the sky can be eaten (or summoned ,transformed in that matter ).We all learn from failier do do they .

I honestly think that its creative. Like maybe you cant be (example) a mermaid in physical form, but in astral form you can be one. I also think that the main reason why people post spells on this is because they grew up with that belief of a dragon existing on our plane and don't want to realize that thats actually impossible. In the astral plane though, there are such things.
