New Proxy Settings/Block

I took the time to contact Petrarca and the site in general about this issue but wondering if any else was having similar problems I thought I'd post it here. I have an iPhone and yesterday while using wifi, via a Internet card from my cell phone provider, the site threw me off saying I was using a proxy which are now banned from use by the site. I then was able to use the back button and re log on but today it happened on my cells normal Internet connection. I found I could then access the mobile site though I prefer to access the lite or desktop version. I have to wonder though if since my Internet comes from an Internet card if I'll be banned from accessing the site from my computer as well due to the new proxy settings which either detect my iPhone or AT&T Internet. Hopefully, though I normally browse the site on my cell it's detecting my iPhone leaving my laptop able to access the site. The mobile version just isn't as accessible in my opinion but it's a way.

I was also blocked for this proxy thang when I used the wifi at Oakland Airport, but once I was at my hotel I was able to sign in with my iPhone just fine.

Your not the only one who is having this issue. I have an iphone 3G and when the internet no matter what browser app i use rather its safari or opera, it will have the proxy dection error and saying that i have to connect to a wifi in order for me to log in. if i am not connected to a wifi in an area, it will not let me login.

Edit your iPhone Internet settings .. Go to safari in your settings and edit it.

This are the following statistics you must have

-JavaScript ( on)
-fraud warning (on)
-block pop up (on)
-accept cookies from visited sites

I have all those statistics on and it let me on again from my home wifi but the regular Internet only lets mr access the mobile version of the site which is a pain. I changed cookies to always accept to see if that helps.

Then I guess it depends on your internet service provider I guess

i have the same problem on my phone. i've tried it on a bunch of different phones at work. certain phones don't have a proxy but most do.
