invisibility spells, are they good or bad, would someone create great mischief with it, or would they use it for good? What are some of your thoughts on it. I have heard that most invisibility spells if you interact with the environment to much it will make you visible again, but could someone steal or create other mischief with it? I have tried a invisibility spell and did no mischief I just used it with the sake of not being seen, but would others just use it for amusement or own selfish gain? What's your thoughts about this subject.
invisibility spells don't work. we can't turn invisible [that would be awesome though] i have heard of illusion magic that, while you won't turn invisible, it'll shield you and someone might not notice you right away. if you want to turn invisible, look into astral projection, when first project you're in the ethral [hope that's right] so you can float around the physical plane similar to a spirit would. you can travel the world so i've been told. [i've gone back home to my nani's farm about 16 hours away but nowhere i haven't been] the thing you need to look out for is similar to spirits, some people can see your astral self. so don't go around being a voyeur because you could get caught. [my nani can see spirits and she saw me.] that's about all i can think of myself. hope it helped.
well, in my comment I said would invisibility spells be mischievous or not, I think astral projection may be just as mischievous as invisibility, like I have people that astral project to my house or do invisibility spells and just want to create trouble, and if you can't really fight something you cannot see most of the time or touch you are pretty much screwed for perhaps your whole life even, I can see spirits too and hear them and most people doing astral projection where I live just want to create evil and destruction, maybe I would get into it, maybe, just to either get back at people or tell them to knock it off, but I believe people should not have such a power, it's like having to much power, now maybe some people just want to have a good time going to outer space or places of the world, I heard some people even go into space with that power, but I think it's too risky to do or to mischievous in fact the type of power should be shunned out of magick users except for the people that use it responsibly. me I would use it for mostly good purposes maybe once in a while to tell my enemies to knock it off or to leave me alone, but that power is to great for one to handle. I think people should just use curses or spells to get back at people or at the very least people should talk out their problems or fight them in a boxing ring or something.
also one more thing, if people do astral projection other witches should put limits or rules to it like you can't speak out loud while astral projecting, or don't touch or interfere with anything or don't screw around with people, so at the very least people don't go around tormenting people.
Well those "rules" kind of do exist already. I think you're over estimating what a projected consciousness can do. Astral projection will take you to the astral realm not the physical but there are out of body experiences and such in the physical. You should also realize that whilst out of your body you are effectively comprised of nothing but thought and energy you can't interact with a physical object only the object's energy as thus you can't move it or affect it in any great way. Speaking may be plausible although not in the sense of oppening your mouth and talking but communicating much in the same way that spirits do by projecting energy.
like Murfie said, while no one stood up and declared with stone tablets 'the rules' there are some limitations so to speak. normally, i just project straight to the astral and don't bother wondering around the physical because i've got a reason for projection. from what i've been told, it's easier to project if you have a reason or desire to. if you're projecting because you want to spy on someone, it'll be harder. never heard of moving things with your astral body, but i do remember one time my friend tried looking at the answers to a test, the answers were kept in a locked drawer in the teachers desk. my friend was able to find the paper, however, she says the words turned into scribbles, and she couldn't read them. so i think there's just natural ways of stopping people from being dishonest. of course you can visit others, but i don't think you can mess with them.
why do you want to know about people being mischievous with magic? yes, people can use magic to cause trouble, but like i said before, there's countermeasures nature has in store. so if people are, say, casting bad luck spells because they're bored, the rule of three will come back to bite them. [also, if you have 100% proof they're doing something, it's perfectly fine to cast a bad luck spell on them. but then you're getting into the eye for and eye thing and i'm not getting into morality here.]
thanks for telling me this stuff guys, like the people where I live use magick in very disturbing and evil ways, and I think some have maybe even found a way to touch the physical plane while being in the astral plane, but yeah you are probably right nature has a way to balance the stuff and all that.
