Astral Block

So recently I've been trying to get back on the astral plane, as I had grown quite fond of astral projection. Only problem is, it feels like something is standing in the way. It feels like, I'm trying to go through a doorway, but a large man is standing in the way physically blocking my journey. I'm not sure what it is. I've tried doing the astral exercises, and opening my chakras, but nothing has worked. So I was wondering if someone could help me get rid of the block?

Have you tried doing a cleansing and a banishing ritual before your projections? This might help you remove any negative entities or energies that are preventing you from reaching the astral.

I've tried cleansing but I haven't tried banishing. To be honest I don't really no how.
