would sleep paralysis have anything to do with the astral planes

I always thought that sleep paralysis was a type of medical condition, though I could be wrong. I don't think it has anything to do with astral projection.

It is a medical condition and you should see a doctor about it.

If you have it without attempting to Astral Projection or Lucid Dreaming, you should see a doctor.

I have where i wake up in the middle of the dream and it becomes real for a couple of minutes , a man was in my room and i walked in and slapped my head against the door and it hurt , so that would be sleep paralysis ?
