My boyfriend and I were discussing baby names, we decided weather it is a boy or girl we want it to have either a god or goddesses name.

I could use some help. If you know any pagan/wiccan/greek god and goddesses names please tell me :) ~Blessed be

I would say go with a name that flows smoothly with the middle and last. Other then that pick a god/ goddess that wouldn't obscure ho people view your child. Like don't pick Loki if you don't want the child's first impressions to be like a trickster or someone who might cause trouble.

If you're going to post information that was taken from another source, either a book or a website, you need to post where that information was obtained from. To do otherwise is plagiarism and is a violation of the site rules.

Consider the deities qualities, but also how 'unique' you want your child's name to be. You might worship Neptune, but how will the childs life with that name be? Children can be cruel, do you want your child coming home crying because they're named Pan?

There's a lot to consider when it comes to naming children. If you want to use a deities name, look into names of gods from your heritage [a white child named Vishnu might not be wise] and names commonly used [Like Morgan or Bridgette. Spelling can be closer to the actual god if you wish] of course you could choose the dirty for the middle name like 'Mary Freya Smith' so you they could choose later on if she wants people calling her 'Freya' or 'Mary'.

Nekoshema obviously meant "non Asian child". Don't be so quick to accuse racism.
