A single altar?

I love altars. I love how they look, the feeling of peace I have I am able to set up mine. However, having multiple altars overwhelms me.
Is it a bad idea to have a single altar for the Aesir, Vanir and Rokur? Or would three be more appropriate?

Depends which deities specifically you might use the altars for. Not generally a good idea to mix Fenrir and Odin, or Skadi and Loki, so on and so forth. It's something you might need to make an offering and ask them about, and see how you feel about it then.

Just as Personified said, watch out which dities you mix! For me, personally, I have one altar altogether for Thor, Odin, Freyja and Loki! They seem to enjoy being close together!

I think you really need to consider which beings you're forcing in the same sacred space. If dedicate an altar to both Jormungandr and Thor, do you expect the energy to be harmonious or even productive?

I have one altar. On this altar I have statues to Odin, Freyr, and Thor, the gods I am closest too. I also have amber beads for Freyja, stone carvings of animals for my guides, and many other things. They all work together, do what feels right, but always practice with a measure of logic based on the lore.
