Maybe start by meditating for five minutes at a time to begin with, and increase as you feel more at ease with it.
Meditate early in the morning when less is going on.
Just start by focusing on your breathing.
But what specifically is your problem with meditation, if none of my suggestions apply?
Just allow those thoughts to come and go, forcing them to stop may just making things worse.
Stretching before you meditate may help as well, but if you don't meditate in the morning then that can aid you greatly.
