Sprites?

Ok so I come from a world where sprites are imaginary beings. I'm ignorant in the least to say but I would like to know if this is legit or just some fairy tail spell.

If you mean Spirits yes they are very real and yes you can summon them.

If I am correct, the OP could be referring to sprites in the context of the fae rather than a syntax error of spirit.

Sprites are a type of elemental fae, usually with water, and are not just imaginary beings. I have friends who have dabbled with fae spirits and sprites come up in conversation often.

On the other hand, the spell itself that you have linked seems a little... dodgy, really.

Firstly, the bit where you imagine the sprites' appearance I am sceptical about. They are their own beings with their own appearances, not for your mind to conjure up. I doubt they are going to change their appearance to match your perception of them.

Next,

'THE GENDER CAN ONLY BE FEMALE!!! I have no idea why but I heard the male Sprite's will die faster female Sprite's last for years and years.'

I feel this doesnt even need comment. It is pretty self explanatory that this is illogical to assume such a life/death time gap based on gender (I am no expert on this, but seriously? If I am wrong, someone more experienced with fae please correct me). And again, you cannot decide what type of sprite is attracted to you, either male or female. The choice is its own.

Finally, the colours for each personality type also seems a little misguided to me- most fae share aspects of every personality. Of course, we all have some characteristics that are more dominant than others, and colours are often used for particular purposes based on correlation, but it is questionable that using a red flower will definitely attract a 'evil malicious sprite' and a pink flower a 'peaceful, loving' one.

Could you a please give me a spell to come in contact with sprites?
