Question: Fantasy Spells?

Hi everyone! So I'm pretty new around here, but in the short period of time I've been on SoM it's become pretty clear all (or at least most) of the spells in the Fantasy Section don't work. So here's my question: if none of the spells work, why is there even a Fantasy Section? If people are here to learn real magick, why do they waste their time reciting words that have no meaning?

I'm very sorry if I offend anyone, I just want to know.

Hey Beast, Iv'e seen this question asked quite abit around here and I believe if my memory is correct that those spells are there too bring traffic too the site. Hopefully this anwsers your question!

True,Dragon. But there is another very important reason. To show members, especially the young and inexperienced, that these spells will not work; that is why they are listed as Fantasy.

Very true. Sadly when I was abit younger I feel into the "fluff trap" myself. I have however started studying proper magic when I'm not working. It's abit tricky to practice but I should appreciate the free time I have before school starts and my schedule will get really clogged up.

Beast is correct. The spells are there because they draw traffic to this site which is what generates the income to keep the site up and running. Once folks come here it is hoped that they will be helped to understand what magic can and cannot do and to receive assistance in coming to practice real magic.
