Hello to you all. I am just going to go ahead and post what I wrote in my bio, because it sums up pretty much why I'm here.

I've always been close to nature and the elements, earth in particular. I know nothing of magic and spells, but I am... curious, for the lack of a better word, about it. It is why I signed up here, maybe I can figure out the closeness I feel to the elements, it is an enigma for me and it feels bizarre for my rational mind.

I don't know where to start or what to do, but hopefully I will find my way.

Kind regards,
Queenie Law

Welcome Queenielaw, I can recommend lots of reading, then some more reading. I have been studying for over 10 years now and I still find new things to study.
Start by learning the Wheel of the year, each month has new things to learn, the Sabbats, Esbats, Correspondances of the Days, elements, colors.
Good luck with your quest, I'm sure many will help you if you ask.
Start a Book of Shadows where you can write down your charts and experiences, this can be a three ring binder or a simple note book. Most witches have more than one.
And have fun, it is exciting, enjoy the journey.

Hello Everyone, I'm new here as well. I've been reading and studying up on things, and sort of practicing for at least 19 years... Most of it, I hid for a longtime because of my family being very Christian and judgemental. But I recently was informed that my Great Grandmother on my Mom's dad's side practiced Benin aka Hoodoo, which came from West Africa.. Which would explain why I've been so drawn to the craft since an early age, I suppose. Lol

I'm really here to learn more, and develope more. Guidance basicly. Because one can never know everything and I'm sure there are alot of intelligent individuals who won't mind helping along my quest...
