farewell

hello to my friends and the spells of magic community in general. Due to commitments from my past I have to step down from my coven, and will be taking a sabbatical from the site. There are many of you here that I have been honored to call friend and I hope I have touched your lives as you have touched mine. I would like to give thanks to petrarca for his work in maintaining and improving this site. I think its a wonderful place for both the beginner and the experienced. There are however things I would like to address... There is a lot of exaggeration, fabrication, hidden agendas, ulterior motives, even intolerance on the site. What is often treated as fantasy here is something I've devoted my life to. So please, keep the harry potter magic and the who can tell the wilder story stuff to a bare minimum. Learn to watch and listen...there is true magic in the world, and its greater than any fantasy ever could be. There are teenagers claiming in the forums to have a half dozen gifts and talents, any one of which takes nearly a lifetime to master. So be proud of who and what you are and leave the fiction for english class. I hope to travel this way again, hopefully in the near future. I will miss many of you and I hope you think of me fondly sometimes.

As many of you know Linda and I come as a pair. She could not have said the words any better so I will not even try. Farewell to all and good luck in all you do, for you are going to need it.
