I am pretty new to magick and wicca.I have always felt a strength and feeling inside that I couldn't explain. I have had prophetic dreams and a the couple of spells I have done were very successful. But I want to know more than just spells. I need some guidance on what I should read as a beginner. What kind if daily rituals I can do to honor the Goddess and God and nature itself. Just new to this and was hoping for some knowledgeable feedback. Thanks!

Hi Lalla, I've been a practicing Wiccan since 1980 and a High Priestess of a coven and then of a Wiccan Tradition since 1996. I'm always happy to point those interested in the Wiccan religion to good books and also on-line resources to get them started. You might start with some of the pinned posts here in the Wiccan Forum as a place to start, particularly the threads " What Wicca Is and Isn't ", " Main Wicca Posts" , and " Ask a High Priestess ". There is a sub-thread in the Main Wicca Posts on resources for beginners. The books that I recommend most highly for someone just starting in Wicca include:
"Wicca" by Thea Sabin
"Wicca: A Year and a Day" by Timothy Roderick
"Wicca: Old Religion for a New Age" by Vivienne Crowley
Feel free to drop me an e-mail any time you like if you have specific questions I can help you with.
I don't know what I am because I do a little hoodoo, santeria and witchcraft. I have always been drawn to spells and magic since I was young but my parents are very catholic so I was very cautious. But I love it and I am now learning how to read tarot cards but I am not sure if I am reading them right or not.
I would get a good book on the subject [like Bucklands book of witchcraft] and get some basic knowledge from that. [once you find your footing you can read tons of books to learn more] my first book was Wicca for Life by Raymond Buckland, but I know many people started with Wicca: A Guide for Solitary Practitioners by Scott Cunningham [i prefer his second book Living Wicca]
As for how to have a daily devotional it really comes down to how much you wish to do. If you want a better connection to nature take time every day to go for a walk in nature and be mindful of your surroundings. For your deities there a few things you could do, morning/evening prayer, blessing before meals, perminant altar [if you don't want people to see your altar and ask, or you want it for the elements/nature you can put some decorations on a table and only you will know it's an altar. Sea shell, plant, feather and candle would be the easiest element altar] you can also meditate daily, be mindful when cooking, do yoga, belly dance, chant, or any number of activities but how you focus can make it a ritual to the gods.
