Ok Im new here as of making this, Ive known about this website and consulted it when I had insomnia tonight. Now, sadly, I havent slept a WINK. Which sucks becouse I was also trying a dream spell. I tried a spell just called Sleep, and it went Gods of Power, Gods of night, take my pain, take my fright, I just want to sleep to tonight, let it be, let it be, (sorry if Im not allowed to post spells in forums Im new please let me know and Ill take it down) It ALMOST worked, I felt much more relaxed, but something fought it. Im not saying demons attacked my sleep schedule, but Id like to know what to do. Please, and thank you.
If this doesn't happen regularly, I wouldn't worry about it. If last night was one of the first times this has happened, it could just be that you happened to have difficulty sleeping one night. Insomnia isn't when you can't sleep every once in a while; insomnia is a condition that causes day-to-day life to be difficult for the sufferer due to lack of quality sleep. (I won't go into detail because I am not a doctor and don't feel like I have enough knowledge to provide specifics, but I am speaking to a professional due to similar issues, so that's part of where I'm getting that information from). Everyone has trouble sleeping sometimes. It just becomes an issue when it starts regularly affecting someone.
If it continues happening, you should probably ask a doctor before turning to magickal treatments. There are plenty of treatment options that can be effective. You could also look into herbal remedies if that's more up your alley. Things like chamomile can aid sleep, and relaxing herbs like lavender can help a person rest. You could consult a doctor or licensed herbalist about that if you wanted to get really in depth with it.
Now, you also said it felt like something was fighting your ability to sleep. I will say from experience: sometimes it just feels like that. However, if you're concerned that there could be an entity causing your sleeping difficulties, a banishing and cleansing certainly wouldn't hurt. Again, though, if the issues continue, it's best to see a doctor.
