Buttons

I know this is probably the dumbest suggestion, but I would love to see it.

on the forums they should have like and dislike buttons. They could have it on the spells/rituals also. (I know that they have ratings)

i just wanted to share an idea

what does everyone think?

I would not be in favor of this system. I have seen it on other boards and I've seen it grossly misused as a form of bullying, especially when it is done in a way that is anonymous. I hope to never see it here because of the abuse inherent in the system.

I have to agree with Lark. I feel like it would also just be a way of people to push a button of whether they like/dislike something instead of actually contributing their thoughts on why .

I feel that a system of likes/dislikes would be equivocal. Magic is way too ambiguous and means many things to different people. I don't see the necessity of publicly judging or negating another practitioner's shared posted working. Therefore if someone likes a posted spell or ritual, they can "like" it by emulating it in their own practice. If they "dislike" it, that can be expressed simply by moving on to the next.
