Herbal Combinations?

So at the moment I have been getting kind of finicky when it comes to herbs. I am not sure if this even really matters but are some herbal combinations better or worser than others. Like if you mix a herb with the element of fire with a herb with an amulet of water. Would they cancel each other out? Or if you add too much masculine herbs with feminine. Wouldn't that mean that they are off balance? Sorry I am just a little worried how I should combine my herbs. If you have any links to websites about this that would help. Any help will be appreciated.

I would suggest investing in some good books on herbalism to study so that you will understand more fully what using herbs in magical workings entails. Here are some I'd suggest:

"Master Book of Herbalism" by Paul Beyerl

"Cunningham's Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs" by Scott Cunningham

"Culpeper's Complete Herbal" by Nicholas Culpeper (This is an old book but full of excellent information)
