Flowers are good since beltane takes place in spring.

Cook some things that remind you of the summer months to come! Make a flower crown. Take some time to breathe in the fresh air. Take a nature walk if possible. Clean your house. Beltane is all about celebrating the end of spring and the fact that summer is coming.

Beltain or Beltane is the last of the Spring sabbats and the most potent of the fertility festivals. The May pole being one of the many traditions used at this time. Hobby horses and the fool as well as the fair maiden and the May Queen are all part of the merriment and fun of this holiday. Traditionally cattle were blessed by having them walk between two bonfires. Flower crowns and fertility symbols abound during this blessed time. Take time to reflect on what growth you want to manifest during the coming season. Visualize what you may need to erect in your life to manifest your desires. Beltain occurs during the Taurus sun sign and decadence is a trait of many Tauruses, being elaborate with a feast fits right in with all the energies building up at this time.
