This may seem impossible but is there a spell for channeling energy into a blast like in dragonball z

The closest I have found to what you describe is a psi ball. A psi ball is an exercise to learn how to both feel and direct energy.

But generally speaking no. There is no spell that will create a blast of energy where physical reality is effected directly.

What you describe with dragon ball z reminds me of charmed where one will add an ingredient to the cauldron and there is a big theatrical poof.

Natural magic is lacking in theatrics.

On the physical plane, not as far as I know. Real magic doesn't work like what you see in fiction. On the astral plane, sure.

Magick is a natural energy that brings natural change. You can channel this energy and create a psi ball, but it won't work like in Dragon Ball Z. It's used to charge spells and heal people [though I guess you could throw it at them with the intent to harm, it won't look like in DBZ nor will it work the same]

As mentioned above, you could try it on the astral plane since magick works differently there and you could theoretically do what's seen in the show, but here on the physical, you can't. [another thing you can try is using the image of them powering up when you charge energy to help with visualization, but it still won't be the same as in the show]
