Trying to help a friend

My friend has recently lost her dad, she’s having the hardest time with him being gone. And it seems like everything else in her life is falling apart too. Is there a spell I can do to send her some happiness, wealth, and luck? I also have never casted a spell on someone else. How do I do that ?

I am so sorry to hear about the troubles that your friend is going through. Losing a parent is always a hard thing to work through.

That being said, magic is not going to solve your friend's problems. Those are issues of grief that we each need to work through in our own way. And if you've never done magic before, then this is certainly not what you need to be doing right now.

The very best thing you can do is to just be a friend who is always willing to be there and to listen. Get your friend out of the house. Take them to lunch, go shopping, go to a movie, go for a long walk. Any activities that distract from our grief and get us back into living are helpful in the early stages of grief.

And, if your friend is continuing to have issues in her life such as you mentioned as a result of her grief, then suggest that they see a professional counselor to help work through why they are experiencing so many issues and how they can learn to move on. Grief is a normal part of loss and we never completely stop grieving. But normal grief should not start destroying the life of the living.
