So I apologize in advance for the lengthy post but; last January I lost my mother, since then obviously i go with my family to maintain hers and my grandmothers graves. Unfortunately despite being in a primarily family cemetery theres a lot of theft. Its typically just things off the graves such as statues and solar lights but, thats still so extremely disrespectful. Ive left an array of different items on their graves and it never even takes a month before flowers are all thats left. Im hoping someone may know a spell that will help to deter people from stealing or return karmic justice to those who do steal off their graves. Obviously it doesnt have to span the entire property, just my mother and grandmas graves. Even an enchantment to put on anything i take to leave there would suffice. I and my family just want to show our loved ones who have left this relm the respect and love we still have for them, without it being inconsiderately disregarded by, knowing my town, some drugged out looser. I watched my father and his sisters frustration at all the missing decor off my grandmas grave, and id rather take stand against such disgusting behavior than get frustrated and give up like they have. If anyone has any suggestions, advice, anything that may be beneficial it is much appreciated and i thank everyone who gives whatever they have for sharing with me.
In British folk magic coal is carried to deter thieves. Leaving coal on the graves may send the individuals a direct message. The experience of being left coal.
I am very sorry you and your family are experiencing this and to be honest this behavior may be better left unfed. Meaning you may want to consider leaving flowers only.

Sometimes items such as this are removed because they get in the way of the mowers that are used by the grounds crew who maintain a cemetery. If the cemetery where your family is buried is also a cemetery which is maintained by a company who make sure it isn't overgrown with weeds and such, you might want to check with the cemetery office to see if some of your items might be there and also to check what items (other than flowers) the cemetery permits to be left on graves. Also, you need to report such vandalism to them.
If it turns out that this cannot be explained by anything other than theft of the items you left, then it would certainly be appropriate to turn to magic to try and stop the problem.
