Yes, you can use dried herbs, though these tend to be not as potent.

You can use them because i have to use them because i don't have any actual herb/occult store near me where i live. Herbs are very rare in some states and countries and very hard to buy and also can be very expensive on the price.

here its not sold in supermarket but there is a market for herb seller and we called them ELEWEOMO here.

You can grow herbs! If you do not have a garden they will grow in pots on a window sill.

you can also learn what grows wild in your area and harvest them

Herbs are grown wild all around the world,but in certain places.Only some herbs can grow in a garden because some cannot grow where ever you want.For example:You live in the Sahara Desert and want to start a garden full of vervain(just a random guess).You can't because the Sahara desert is very hot and vervain needs to grow in a cool/warm area.Like Georgia/USA,here vervain is only grown in fall and fall has a cool/warm season.

you can get your herbs from anywhere you like :)

You can use everything what you want .Herbs which you have grown by yourself will be more attuned to you and let say soaked with your intend .I grow my own herbs ,but i also collect herbs from the wild (as i always leave offering and spread their seeds so i know iwill find them next year .)Always make sure you left few plants to selfseed !And i do not have problem using dried herbs from supermarket .Actually many supermarkets sell some of the most common herbs ,such basil ,thyme ,nutmeg ,coriander ,black pepper and so on .For more exotic ones you may check online .
