Hi :)
i am new to the site. so i figured i would be social..
i also live in the bible belt. its a little frustrating (and im a christian witch myself). judgmental stares can get annoying
merry meet
I too am a christian witch its wonderful too meet people in the same boat as myself.I am in the broom closet though and only my mother knows about me.My pastor however looks and directs his sermons at me the majority of the time saying I am a lost child blah blah blah.I really don't care I still go to church because I am there to praise god not please him or anybody else.
Seriously I'm sure he'd burst a vein if he found out oh I can here them now, seriously the people here have no problem with voicing there own opinions.
I hope things get better for the both of you.As for me I'm contemplating if I should come out of the broom closet or not.
I try to keep in the dark I go to church but I know that one day I will have to make a choice my dad doesn't know currently it is because he was raised in a firm christian background and I am sure it would only trouble him more. Myself as I have studied some parts of the left hand path I do not practice it because I just don't feel easy on the subject I will if I must use but only if it was a desperate lost move that would be the circumstances as of now for me. But it should no matter who you are something to be aware of. It is a very lonely work for me as I live in the Midwest and there is little to none people here wanting to learn or care I just keep to myself and learn to enjoy life as much as I can. Thank you for commenting I do hope to hear more from you all! n_n
hi everybody.... im christian too....i love the.book of psalms.... my mom is supportiveshe even buy candles and stuffs that i need .... but nobody kn..ows im intrested on this craft.... and im dead serious to be called a good witch someday
Be very careful practicing negative magic .. The law of three is very much a real thing. I took it lightly once ( only once because I learned my lesson ) and castes a negative spell against someone who did me wrong and while my spell did a lot of harm to the person, horrible things happened to me. I had a very random and serious accident.
Just a personal word of cAution
I strictly believe in that law it is indeed real and for some reason always comes back like a force of nature I also believe in karma but this is just a different word used in a similar manner.
I have worked with candle magick before whit candles are very powerful tools It is very useful for rituals also be careful of your way of setting it up things can not work out as you wish them to be I learned the hard way and I no longer invite my close trusted friends to them anymore if I do one because I do not want to get them into something they do not want to be in.
I really do want to make a few spells based on bible set ups it would be great learning indeed and would bring more meaning to me.
combining magic and a relationship with god can be such an uplifting and glorious experience :)
i have my bible with me everytime i cast a circle. next time you are in yours, ask god to be there with you and surround you. the feeling of being so close to gods love is awesome :)
i use magic rituals, like candle magic, as a form of worshiping god. also to offer up prayers to him.
Yep same here. Im turning 18 this August and im kinda stuck in the Christian belt myself. Everyone is nice but i cant tell them what ive been through! They'd think im crazy! My parents almost put me in an asylum but they know magic is real. They believe in it and they love me. They just dont think it happened to me. And neither would my Christian friends if they knew.
