But arnt the emotions responsible for the synchronicy that curses abide to?. They first reconfigurr your feelings thus reconfiguring the algorithm of the collective consciousness of all things l, creating bad luck because all things are one?
The premise definitely has some merit, and it makes a logical sense. That is similar to describing how cultivating an atmosphere of positive energy (IE; positive emotions, safety, warmth, and support) will push away negative energies and entities because they lose their relevance and power.
I suppose the tricky part is in the details. Momentarily doing something that brings happiness or joy or contentment can push away negative quite quickly and effectively, but if the person doesn't deal with the source of the issue, that negativity returns as the positive energy and emotion fades back to normal. And if a person is holding on to that negativity themselves, they would almost literally be pulling it back to them.
So a sustained rise in temperament along with helping that person to let go of the negativity are important. it is good to make someone happy, but if even while happy they keep telling themselves 'but it will just come back', that is exactly what will happen. Curses (and blessings as well) are twofold that way.
A person initiates the curse, usually also revealing to that person the idea that the curse has occurred as well. the energies are committed and the other person then begins to feel the effects. However then the other person, being convinced they have this curse, starts to see evidence of it in even unrelated happenings. "I tripped. Must be the curse." "Dinner is burned, the curse again." "Damnit I slept in! it -must- be that curse!" and so on, reinforcing the idea and presence of the curse by fueling it themselves.
So providing some sort of upliftment or positive environment does push it off, but it more or less just creates an opportunity for the person to let go of the curse themselves, to release it once and for all.
In essence, yes. that is where the phrase 'rise above' comes from. Raising yourself to a state where the negative things trying to influence you lose their power. ^_^

The rule of attraction works, indeed, but that is for someone let's say normal/ not cursed. Once someone is cursed, the law of attraction is not the only one in control, as someone else's power also sends you negative and bad circumstances. Once you realise someone is cursed, it is usually pretty easy to protect that person, usually, depend on the curse, the person who is cursed, the person that cursed, the person protecting/ breaking the curse. But usually and for most curses it is not hard at all.
Now, continuing your idea, it would still be impossible to "block your mood at its highest". It is unnatural, inhumane and it can backfire so bad.. Don't take it from me, take it from drug addicts. Poor souls..
