I ment spiritual gifts, sorry for being vague. As for my friends 1 doesn't follow a specific. The other is Norwegian. As for my I'm Hellenic (there is debate on whether it is a pagan path) i age the post wondering if there are specific spiritual gifts for different paths.
If they're pagan AND witches, maybe they put a little charm on them, but who knows. I mean, I don't think they'd put something bad in the things (maybe it's just to strengthen something, like to aid in dream recall or to aid in prophetic dreams, just to name a few examples)... Are the visions and dreams about bad things?
If you're worried you can talk to them about it and the things that have been happening.
Magic, magical talents, natural aptitudes, and practices honestly fall into a grey area when people try to define them as a skill versus a gift. Mostly it is up tot he individual and just how they like to define their use of terminology.
Personally I think of these sorts of abilities as skills because while some people naturally have more aptitude towards certain things, it is more because of a matter of individual tendencies and compatibility of attitudes and preferences compared to practices. Just like with mundane skills; some people are more naturally skilled at math and numbers. others in art and perspective, still others in philosophical ideas and abstract thought.
Having a preferential leaning towards art and abstract thought does not restrict anyone from learning math and calculus, but it might take more investment of attention and practice to gain a similar measure of skill compared to someone who naturally thinks in numbers and logic. By the same token, Most people can learn about and develop some measure of practice in divination, healing, energy working, and various forms of awareness and sensitivity. It just comes easier to some.
To that end, I guess to answer your question; everyone develops a certain gift or specialty. The nature of that specialty is just guided and developed based on one's individual preferences, talents, attitudes, experiences, and opportuities for learning.
If you feel like you have a natural talent for divination, considering your dreams, then i would suggest gathering some knowledge on the subject. learning meditation techniques and methods of dream intent or astral travel may help further your talent or reveal other ones to explore. And learning about other forms of divination such as scrying, cloud reading, omen interpretation, tarot, etc may also help you discover other things you can find a connection to.
By exploring the things you have a natural talent in, you further your knowledge and control of that talent, expand the possibilities of what you can do with it, and also use it as a springboard to discovering other practices you might have a passion for.
I just realised that I completely misread your post. Sorry about that.
So, pretty much like the previous comment, it's totally possible that you start developing a "gift", but that might not be solely because you're pagan (it might have been a kickstarter though). Usually though, rather than "gifts" they're abilities that you can train and learn overtime. Sure, some people have it easier than others, but that doesn't mean I can't train having prophetic dreams, for example.
Many people have said that my reading skills are a gift, but really I just picked a deck of cards and started practicing. I learned, read, practiced and trained and that got me to my skills now. Sure, I do have a tendency to learn fast and easily, but that doesn't mean someone else can't or anything.
The more you practice, the better you become. The more you know, the more you understand. You seem to be developing precognition. Start writing down your premonitions and then if they happen, write that down and date it. See if you can develop a pattern, if you are right or wrong, close? Precognition is one of my talents.
Thank you all for the amazing feedback. I will try to meditate on it but I have a really hard time with it because of certian mental conditions. Seriously thank you all for replying but another that has been happening is people will accidentally bump into me or touch something i've touched and get minor bad luck. This is common with me. Is there anything you guts could suggest for this?
*laughs* I am a bit familiar with that. I had a group of friends I used to hang out with and play pen-and-paper rpg's. One friend, who happened to often be the game master, I referred to as a 'wild Canadian Lucksucker'. At the beginning of any play session we all would have fairly good rolls with a normal spread of numbers. But as the game ran on, all of our numbers would steadily get worse while his steadily improved. We even used to tease him as if he was the subject of one of those 'national wildlife' videos.
Joking around aside, however, I can assure you that events like that are typically just coincidental. Unless your friends encountered bad luck immediately after touching things of yours, every time they touched something of yours, then it is likely you have nothing to worry about. One or two (or even three or four) times wouldn't really be considered as a significant correlation.
Ok thank you for your feed back and yes I have a HUGE tendency to over think things. Lovwe your story by the way. Its probably me thinking too much into thinks like usual.
