What do you use it for?

well, I use it for healing, making people obey, make things invisible, and such.

for fun and other things like weather and stuff

I use magic every day, but I haven't cast a spell in years. For me, magic is a way of life, and a way of thinking. It is about discovering more about the world around you, and more about yourself. I study magic, not for the sake of being able to have spells for every situation, but to understand what magic is and to understand who I am at my core.
One a side note, I don't believe one can change the weather, as before stated, but that is my own belief.
