Horoscopes?

I've found that sometimes your horoscope is more accurate if you look at both the horoscope for your Sun sign, and also at the one for your rising sign. For instance, I'm a Scorpio, with Taurus rising, so I'd look first at Scorpio's horoscope, which says
"Your sweet, playful spirit is making life much more interesting for your friends and family. See if you can get them to play along without your having to explain all the rules beforehand."

Sort of on the mark.

Then I'd look at Taurus's, and today, that says:
"Share your concerns with friends -- they are much more sympathetic than you would have dreamed. It's a great day for you to get something big off of your chest, though communication may be more poetic than direct. "

And that is right on for me. Your mileage may vary! :)

To find your rising sign, you'll need to have a rough estimate of what time you were born at, and you can use the table here: http://www.drstandley.com/astrologycharts_risingsigns.shtml

It's much more accurate to have a natal chart drawing done, though. You can get that done for free at astrolabe.com.

Thank you for that, Ning. I will look into it once I have gotten some more sleep and then I'll post my opinion of it here. Sometimes it amuses me, though, to see how inaccurate the online horoscopes can be. For example one time the horoscope insisted that I was holding a grudge(as I mentioned in this thread, I think) and I hadn't been holding a grudge for awhile.

Some of those inaccurate horoscopes are a blast! I love astrology.com for that very reason, lol.
