To every myth there is an once of truth...
Every 'mythical being' come from astral beings. Who knows how the legends started, but its great learning material.

No, I am not talking about witch doctors. Think of it as a purely medical condition for now. Is that so unbelievable? tl;dr: Do some research.
What I remember of the history of the vampire myth is that it comes from Eastern Europe, possibly from wild rumors based on grizzly facts of the career of Vlad the Impaler, plus misunderstood observations of anemics and Lupis.
Vampires may not fly or turn themselves into bats, or even have built-in fangs, but they do exist. Sorta like how witches don't turn people into frogs or have green skin... but they're still here.

Vampires are evolving yet many aspects of the vampire remain the same and are unlikely to change. Hollywood is responsible for many misconceptions; however, real vampires do not stray too far from the stereotypical vampire The human bite can be lethal. It's plain stupid and suicidal to bite someone or let them bite you.
Many of the vampires are bipolar, have multiple personality disorder or schizophrenia. (They are the ones who say they are afflicted.) These unfortunate mental illnesses are rampant in the vampire community. At least 39% of today's vampires were abused as children. You might say, "Well, no wonder. And they are drawn to vampirism because it gives them a sense of power or they are so fractured they hide behind different personas

Couldn't bother to read the whole post, but are you trying to say that vampires and draconians are the same thing, Purple? If so, no offense, but I think you may be on the wrong site.

Ok. So, I'm a lizardman... interesting. :)
Purple, the problem is that there are several vampires on this site that don't have scales. And I wasn't trying to be insulting. If I were I would make a comment about ignorance, lack of research, etc. However, now that you have mentioned it, some of my posts may seem insulting right now. Due to family issues I haven't been in a very good mood lately. In light of that, I think I'll take a short brake from the internet until I've rebalanced myself and all that fun stuff.

I have my own set of issues with family right now, too. I've been in the ER watching the one I love suffer, so, I'm removing myself from the internet, too.
