There is a *huge* difference between the things that we assume are demons, and what really are demons. Most of the "demon" stories I've heard are really just malicious spirits messing with them. These spirits **can** be bound by a human being. A demon (which is a being made of energy) can **not** be bound as it is **higher** than you are. Its kinda like a duh moment that a mere human can't seal a being much older than you are. :P
Being old doesn't have much to do with things. Also, because demons are energy being, which you pointed out, it is possible to seal one. Even if it was temporary. It would be extremely hard to do so though. Would take an large amount of energy to try and to kept it from breaking. If I had to make such a seal I would have it draw energy from the demon to make the seal stronger.

Gosh, I mean, really? I very much doubt there is many on this site who could do it, and those that could know better than to even try. A demon is a demon, do you really think they will sit still while you try to seal them or do you think they will do stuffs to stop you? Also, they could probably figure out fairly easily how to get out of it. You know, being old and knowledgeable and all.
Also, I do not see the point in the sealing of a demon. They have better things to do than hang out in a object. They have a purpose, just like the rest of us, so why bother in that purpose?
And if it *was* done to keep the demon from harming you, because you did something wrong and peeved them off, they will be a world more peeved off once they get out.
This is the Perfect Example for misunderstanding what demons truly are.
Just as what Said just said (irony?Lol),demons have more work to be done with than meddling with humans.They got to bring those who have high karma to be burned off in hells and other stuffs.
Besides.sealing won't make a difference to demons because they have a very powerful free will in their possession.On the other hand,why
is everyone claiming to have a demon following when its just their subconsciousness toying with them? O_O
i have to kinda agree with solarn on this one wouldnt they have more important things to do for one, and secondly being demons i would think they've been around for far longer than any of us have so anything that we would learn they probably have already been exposed to over and over again so it probably wouldnt phase them????
This little debate is going nowhere, as it depends on what you veiw as a demon. Its like trying to explain what love is, if you have 100 differant people each one of them is going to tell you a differant defination on what love is. That being said, if you view demons as being gods or fallen angels then keep training and maybe someday you will be able to do seal them. If you view demons as tortured and twisted spirits, then to seal them isnt very hard. PM if you have anymore questions.
