Birdlover, I don't know if I'd call that physical shifting. As a shaman, physical shifting is not something seen as possible. You are correct about people acting like the animal they "shift" to. It is advised against calling an animal into you for long periods of time because of that. The person could become aggressive and pick up even the unwanted traits from that animal.
What is a good starting point for me? I have read the FAQ and Tips, I just don't know what it means by Visualizing, or if it is thinking it, then how would i think of these, and where should i start where you need no Materials, and just your mind, like gaining Telekinesis, can TK be gained, or already "Born" with it and don't know how to use, i'd love to learn.....

Magic attacks(throwing psi balls, ki, etc)
All The 'Kinesis
Manipulating Energy to say like, moving a tornado, summoning rain, etc.
And mental/magic Shields (from mental and physical attacks)
^is about all i'd like to Learn, since some help with daily life, and protection, so.... about that, i mean later i'll try spells, but i like the others to come first, but also if it takes spells and stuff to gain energy to do 'Kinesis and Ki, chakra etc, i'm willing to do that if has to.
Andrew, telekinesis is possible, but it will take years to learn. I'm talking a lot of years. As for mental attacks, and ki blasts etc, this is not a cartoon action show, or a video game. You will not be able to throw visible energy balls and destroy things. I see you have more of an interest in mental things. That's fine, but it takes a long time and a lot of patience and meditation. In order to open and use your third eye, you need to open and balance all the other chakras. But even before you learn that, you must learn visualization. Visualization is being able to close your eyes and mentally visualize something. See it within your mind. You must see it clearly, and to do that its going to take a lot time. The "kinesis'" are not what you think, making energy visible takes years, and is very rarely something able to be done. Please do research and then decide what you'd like to learn, and research it fully before you begin anything.
Depends, if Visualization is closing your eyes, and Visualizing it before you, then i need that better, but if it's your mind thinking it, then i don't need that, why i narrowed it down to TeleKinesis, is cause there is 91 or more 'kinesis. I've researched a bit.... I researched, Chakra Meditation, and partially TeleKinesis, but if you want the main things, then that is telekinesis, and some magic attacks, and yeah i know it isn't a cartoon, even though i see it on them.
And what i get out of what i found is, telekinesis performed, can move/lift objects, just by concentration. But still, years to learn.. im willing to still, even though of how long it takes, i haven't beleived in magic or TK, but im getting to find points where i can make myself beleive, Ready To Learn.
....I knew that, i was ~just~ saying what i wanted to learn, reason for energy stuff, is so i can finally do something that was my Life-Time Dream. Same with telekinesis, but i understand that Magic isn't about those, but thats the way i would mainly use it. I still may do a few spells, but i mainly wanna feel safer, and to protect myself from my Brother that attacks me. (not magic or anything supernatural) and i have other reasons to want to learn those.
Andrew, why do you want to learn telekinesis? That isn't going to stop your brother from attacking you, if you want that, take up some form of martial arts.

I wanted to learn Telekinesis to move objects, and magical things not just of that, and i know it wouldn't stop him, but that's not my reason for learning. Not meaning to be a jerk..... But...... nothing said i couldn't learn telekines...
