l agree with you draggystar,theres is a saying when you point an accusing finger the rest fingers point back to you inorder words we are not perfect thats the humanity in us we make accusation wherelse we have our own faults wel l hope there wil be changes

I've been around not long in comparison to many others I know, but that said I have been around long enough to see this occur time and time again, by all sorts of members of this site.

The most common one right now seems to be the white/black magick fiasco, which is really just categorization based on personal preference. I won't say it's wrong, and I won't say it's right, just that I myself see no point in using it as it confuses me (is the intent greater than the result?).

In the end intolerance will continue, because that's the way the human race is right now. They are willing to point the finger at others rather than face their reflection in the mirror.

I hear ya Linda, and its rather nice to see a thread stay on topic for a change. And given the topic, it goes to show that yes even a respected site such as SOM even has its major flaws.

I like this post :) and yes there will always be people who have attitudes torwards others not knowing, or not being on the same terms.

Invoker, what you just said has nothing to do with this post. Please stop going around and posting things that are either irritating and/or obnoxious.

I also would like to say that I agree with Kataki on this post. It seems to me that everyone, on site and off, are like this. Im not sure if this will change anytime soon, but I do hope that it can.

Intolerance is hateful. While I don't believe in God, I wouldn't dare say someone was wrong for believing. Some of my closest friends (and family) are Christian, and are the most wonderful people I've ever known. My Mom is a Christian, and is the most amazing, strongest person I can imagine. Her husband, my Step Bob, is absolutely perfect for my Mom. She's been through a lot, and he stands by her no matter what. He is the most amazing guy I know. Just like any other group of people, there are "good" Christians, and "bad" Christians. Sometimes I envy their faith, I've just seen too much ugliness to believe as they do.
