Spellcaster, it obeys you so you can will it to be friendly or hostile and it will stay until you tell it to. Also, spellcaster, do you have a spell to summon animals or not?

This is very interesting... and chill out! You haven't even made your request very clear... what kind of animal?? And how exactly are you having trouble with that, when you were able to summon a freaking wolf? Are you trying to summon a hump backed whale now??

No, Sharpeye. I want to summon animals. It doesn't matter what kind.

Wolves are pack animals. They work together to eat, play and live.
Sometimes wolves from a pack will leave to basically go start their own pack, but rarely are they on their own and continue to be on their own.

So here's what your little spell is doing...

You're supposedly causing an animal to leave it's family to travel however far to "obey" you. This now means that when you're done with the fun you're having with it, it can't go back to it's pack. Depending on age and location and rank, it may not be able to start it's own pack. It also it not used to hunting on it's own.
So not only did you just leave this wolf homeless, you're going to starve it to death OR cause it to be in a situation where it's forced to eat the live stock/small animals/pets around you where some idiotic human is probably going to shoot it.

Congratulations. You killed a wolf.
