i had this same problem with a group of gay bashers i ended up fighting one of em kicked his butt and it felt good

just ignore it, itll pass. the person is looking for a reaction. thats most likely it. if you dont let it bother you, the less enjoyment they get out of it, and yes they may try harder, but just keep ignoring it, eventually the person will stop,or move on to somebody else. some parents are even just looking for a reaction.

I think real friends would stick up for you when people are calling you names I found in high school people just want to start fights and the people telling you this stuff are probably encouraging her and joining in!

I dont think you can do anything wouldn't that be interfering with her own free will if your using magick to make her stop?

do not do a spell that will be against her free will, and espeically if she doesnt know about it. rather, do a spell bring pure, positive energy into her life. also you can bring truth into her life, and to better communication into her life. this will probably and hopefully not be against her free will because you are not changing her directly, you are BRINGING in this qualities.

not too long ago, i was working in a nursing home. well, every home has "the nurse from hell". on this particular day, she was giving all of us a hard time, and being very rude. she got rude with me and i stood my ground and replied back to her. anyways, she kept it up. So...i wrote her name on a piece of paper and promptly flushed it down the toilet...asking first of all, that no harm be done to this person, then putting the intent in of "stop your behaviours against us".

shortly thereafter she kinda' disappeared into the back office and was quiet. i asked my coworkers what happened to her. they said she was being so full of complaints on everyone, the nursing supervisor told her to stop the behavior and to stop bothering with all the complaints.

enough said, the shift ended on a quiet note.

If you wish to use a binding, go for it. You can change a simple knot binding to focus on "zipping their lips" when they lie or spread gossip. Rashnu is right, pretty much everyone has dealt with this at one point or another. Magic is not the answer to everything, but if you choose to go that method, a simple knot binding would suffice. Make sure you specify what it is you are binding though. You would not want to interfere with any other part of her life. Regardless, she will eventually learn when people realize what she is doing.

first step, protection. either cast a spell, or carry around a good luck charm, or both. second, tell someone, third, if you want to cast a spell on her, i'd sudjest a karma spell, to speed up the process. other than that, there's nothing. [well, curses and physically hurting her, but i doubt you'd want that, and you shouldn't do that even if you want to.]
