Role:As in you having a role in a play.When your doing that your not something you are.For example:You could be a flower,but your a human in real life.
The player:Your playing that part.
Combine that then you get roleplayer.
Roleplayer:Saying your something your not.

yet Roleplaying is also /me actions so everyone is technically breaking the rules who use /me. All i am saying is a more accurate definition. I am not bashing the rules i am not against the rules all i want is to provide a word more accurate to what people see it as.

Whats there to delete? Its a simple conversation no one is being rude to each other and i am simply pointing out a different view. It is in the comments section and it is a comment. There is nothing to delete.

I'm curious as to why you sought out to choose the definition that coinsides with your personal opinion, thus being able to make an argument.

Also, from dictonary.com

the modifying of a person's behavior to accord with a desired personalimage,as to impress others or conform to a particular environment.

A desired personal image doesn't not mean a factual one and in fact, suggests a made up one when combined with the beginning of the definition and the rest of it "to modify" ( definitions aside, we know this means to make a change to) and "to impress others".

So now that we have both accepted definitions from your source...what about this doesn't make sense with the rules?

I believe the source means in theater, when you are acting. However Rashnu's definition is also correct. One word can mean many different things.

You are playing a role- being something you are not. Whether it is fictional or non-fictional. I dont see why you would nitpick at something that lacks immediate importance. There are much larger issues in this world, and compared to them this is so unimportant.

Poser is also a good definition, but I dont see the point with all the fuss and bother to change it.

Silky is right. In context. There was no confusion that I am aware of, because people have the logic to figure out the context. Your point is invalid.
