I do not know if an entity that has possessed you can cause mental illness. You would think so lol. However it has been said that people with mental illnesses are easier to possess.

I am in the same situation as you on this topic. I have a friend who will be 47 in April but she has the cognitive skills of an eight year old. She complains of mean voices and now she has changed from a sweet caring person to someone who's temper flares unexpectedly almost evil looking. She has began self-mutilating and saying she wants to die. She refuses to see a doctor or take medication. I did a house blessing at her home because they would come home with all pictures turned backwards. She also sees things or senses them before they happen, I have seen this several times. I know that has happened because I have witnessed them. Has she possibly become possessed because of the the house cleansing ritual. I think she has manifested a poltergeist from the depression. Is it mental or paranormal? I am scratching my head on this one. I need someone to send me some holy water. I don't have any Catholic churches in the area. If she acts vicious to the this I could tell. I am going to give her something like a blessed medal or some sort of protection charm. If she doesn't react I will call crisis on her. I am keeping a close eye on her. Because her husband is deaf, he would not be able to let me know her moods unless we write down anything she does. We have our own sign language from the family.

If your friend is self-mutilating and proclaiming suicidal thoughts, you need to get her help immediately: no matter the underlying cause. That's serious business.

There are demons in each and everyone of us, atlest that is how most people see it today. In each of us there are good and not so good forces, that keeps us balance. So there is no need for spells or magic to defeat this demon. Just find out what your problem is and put your focous there. Fix the problem from the inside out. This demon is useing the negaive energy in you to over power you. Get rid of it's energy sorce and you will get rid of it.

I agree. She is like a zombie. She looks different, like her eyes are sad and almost hollow. She refuses mental health observation and the taking of medicine. I have her on suicide watch and do body checks to make sure she is not harming herself in other ways and places. Her family is very abusive to her even though she is 46 but she is mentally challenged(I do not like the word retarded). She has a home, cooks, cleans, but she just has to do it at a child's level. Her mom gripes her out if she goes to the doctor because I reported her insurance card lost or stolen, so now her mother has to give her permission and her mother must inform the insurance company that she is going. She won't let me talk to her mother. Can she be exhibiting the problems that my twelve year old is really going through.

Not sure if demons are real,but who knows...

wow u believed demon possesion from that? Real possesion is like, bending in half backwords, speaking with multiples vocal cords (yes cords, not voices, look it up), speaking in other languages, saying things theres no way that person could know, blackened eyes and levitation. u REALY need to learn how to study. Anyone here could have told u that was solid bs. jeez.
