Watch out on joy of satan Maxine the leader strechs information to make her side look like the right one. She leaves out info and is clearly paranoid of jews. She should not be taken 100% serious even though some of the information is correct. Lucifer is actually the Greek God of Light i have found out recently

Even though we've pretty much decided JoS Isn't the best site, I just want to say that some of the things they claim christianity 'stole' is sketchy at best. Such as: Taken 'Amen' from 'Amon-Ra'. Amen is latin for let it be.

Stole the tree of life from the human soul. The christian tree of life doesn't have anything that could be compared to a chakra or such, so it can't be compared to souls. They also claim the angels at the bottom of the tree are guarding the base chakra. I have yet to find a picture of the tree of life with angels at the bottom.

They hold Luciferian Liberation Front in high regard. I would understand if you think the Gods are aliens, but these people take it way out of proportion.

Actually christanity did steal a lot for their bible. Amon Ra alternative name is Amen. The praying hands from Budda same thing with the fire on top of the head. Theres also the golden calf that was actually an Egyptian Goddess Hathor. Three Kings was stolen fromt he three kings that visted Horus then again most of what jesus is is stolen from Horus. Noah and the ark was stolen from Sumerian scriptures with Ziusudra and Enki. I could go on and on and on

Darkish, we all have the same spirit world. Look at dragons. You can't say the Mayans stole it from the Chinese (and the images are nearly identical).

A flood actually happened! The story came from the Torah (Christians didn't just make it up) and the Torah was believed to be the history of the Jewish people and the area they lived in (which Sumeria is in that area too). A Jew would say, of course its the same story, because it has truth to it.

But not only that, but they are in close vicinity which means like the Norse and Irish people, some things are just naturally adapted different names and meanings to the same basic ideas.

As for Amen and Amun. Again, it is a Hebrew word that dates back to the Jew's oldest texts. Therefore Amun was around while the Hebrews were saying "amn". What is there to steal? The two words might look the same in English, but its not an English word. In hebrew the words aren't even spelled the same and have different meanings.

Even if the christians did 'steal' (I prefer the term borrow) some things thats what every other religion has done since the beginning of time hoever there are cave paintings of the horned God in England and also all over across the world all painted way before recorded history and so like Whiteraven said we must share some degree of the same spiritual world because I can pretty much believe that man just a little bit after cavemen did not have the equipment nor knowledge to cross the seas in such a vast way Enki the Gods of Sumeria (Iraq) has a similar deity in the mayan culture in south America both of these culture at the time had no possible way of communicating.

My main beef is how they leave stuff out. The constant darkness=evil really grinds my gears. Sure other cultures borrowed from others but they didnt murder the other people saying conform or die. I don't consider any abramic faith to be a religion based on their actions and what they teach. There is nothing spiritual about those books.

I just wanted to point out that I'm Catholic and I get kinda p.o.ed some times when people start going on about us killing everyone who doesn't conform to our beliefs, did we do it for a couple hundred years? Yeah, but so have many other religions, including pagans, protestant christians, jews, and moslem's, yet nobody ever seems to care about them. Are we not getting a bit of a harsh rap here? And I agree with what was said above, whiles its true many aspects of our faith was adopted by the peoples whos lands we converted, what religion has not? Hinduism has many of the same beliefs as Buddhism, yet nobody ever occuses the Buddha of stealing things from the Baghva Gita (sorry to your Hindis out there if thats spelled incorrectly)

Thanks for refreshing my memory on that. The romans did bury christians up to their necks and let the lions eat em. Granted, I would be the first person in the crowd, yelling certain things.....
