Is this normal?

Well, ive been a part of spellsofmagic for a while but I still haven't figured anything else.

Tomcat, you should of started a new forum post instead of adding onto a per-existing one. some questions,

how long have you been studying?
what interests you?
do you feel drawn to anything?

what could could do is try different things, if they don't feel right, then move on. OR i find meditating on a question works wonders. you don't have to sit and meditate, you could go for a walk alone, without any music, and look for an answer, you could interpenetrate your dreams, skry, or even do a tarot or oracle reading to help you find a path. i've been studying for nearly a decade, and i don't have one solid path. i started out with a lot of Egyptian influence, now i study Dragon Magick, but i also do potions, tarot reading, palmistry, deviation, spirit/medium work, herbalism, energy healing and many many other things. as well, you don't have to have study magical things only, look into gardening, if you're interested in herbalism. genealogy is a hobby of mine, but also rather important to know yourself. learn from your past, which is why a lot of witches study history and mythology. there's a lot you can study, but there's no short cut to figuring it out. meditation and skrying though can help point you in a direction.
