Marijuana is witchcraft??????

there was a similar post called weed, and another about the use of mind altering substances while practicing... there were alot of different facts much like this post and it all boiled down to preferences.. facts are a lot of cultures /religions use lots of different types of mind altering substances, rom mild to very strong some we are farmiliar with ( peyote ) to who knows in the tribes of somewhere we all never heard of... bottom line is everyone practices there own way and no one can tell you how to do your spirituality but you... oh the other was pot and wicca i beleive... just be sure to be carefull with the; who, what, when, where, how much, safe, legal, if not legal am i willing to accept the concequences, and just over all knowlegde of what you are doing... blessings and good luck

okay, so Marijuana isn't a main part of witchcraft, however, its a natural herb. Every plant has abilities, and so does cannabis with things like meditation, psychic awareness, and relaxation - as long as it isn't abused. it can be burned, infused or smoked in ritual to add to it if its something you want to do. Despite what the media says it is just a plant.
some might disagree with me on this and im not promoting the use of illegal drugs, but this is my opinion on it.

Being a fellow Wicca everything im involved in is natural by nature. And a fellow user of the plant. (not illegally) it does not effect my magic but calms me down. So the question of it being used in witchcraft i have not seen any spells or what not with the plant but if the witch is a user youre not breaking any "rule" yes most witches like to be pure but honestly it helps.

I live in constant pain. I smoke cannabis sometimes, but mainly I eat the buds. Like all medicines, it has side effects. But I will assure of one thing.
It's a hellova pain killer!

It makes me very paranoid
In my State now its not legal
But you can no longer be arrested
For smoking it, only issued a small ticket
Our jails became very over crowded
Its not harmful,on a medical grade level
Be careful coping on the steets,some folks lace their supplies to make them more potent, i was once given Angel Dust laced weed

Research "entheogenic drug use" or simply "entheogen." The term means a chemical substance which causes one to experience the "god within." This is a primary method of reaching altered states of consciousness among many shamanic / indigenous practitioners. Most systems of belief, most likely including many practiced by people here, were originated by people using this method to bend the spirit world in toward the practitioner.

For an interesting look into entheogens (although as far as I know cannabis is not one of the ones used in the books) read Carlos Castaneda, especially "The Teachings of Don Juan: A Yaqui Way of Knowledge." Also, anything by Timothy Leary or Ram Dass.

And anybody who puts down entheogenic drug use is only doing so because of a lifetime of being fed misinformation and lies about a tool and a great ally given by nature so that humankind might better come to understand its mysteries, including those of the inner self and the spirit. It always helps to do research before choosing to ally oneself one way or another. It does not become people of wisdom to choose sides based on ignorance.

In some native tribes they use some drugs to give themselves hallucinations and supposedly see into the future. However, I would keep well away form drugs that give hallucinations because the it may end badly.

Marijuana is not addicting it cures cancer,ADD ADHD it very Theodore and you can use for fuel,clothing and paper and it can grow any were and for cheaper then cotton take less space to grow then cotton and save trees that why the government spread lies to keep it illegal so they won't lost billions of dollars

I guess before I go on to a rant about the pros and cons of Marijuana I could simply ask you if you have done it before.

It is said that Marijuana can help with mediation, relaxation and astral projection, even making people see monster and get scared. But I would not think its an item you truly need for Witchcraft.
