personal concerns are really important for this kind of job. There are a lot of root workers out there who would never do a HJ without personal concerns.
Can you get any? you may have to be creative. One kind of personal concern is to get dirt from a footprint. Is it possible to get that?
Your last option is using the photo(s) one picture of you and the target "face to face" and bound with red string or ribbon or wrapped with the intention paper, and put in the jar is an option, though some might say a weak one.
I think you may want to start another jar. Moon cycles and correspondences aren't important so no biggie since you missed the full moon.
Are you in a place where your target sees you very often? Are you at least tangentially in his life? what I mean is that I could do a HJ for a movie star but because im nowhere near Hollywood or anywhere for that matter (lol) my chance of success is really low.
youre definitely on the right track and youre having successful signs from your candle work which is great.
Sugar jars can work too but the wisdom ive come across is that they work fast and then burn out fast too. Ive got no experience with them though.
Look into some other herbs/spices too. Cinnamon is fantastic, it is also sacred the Goddess of Love, but there are some other ones out there that I think you should add as well (just imho) like rosemary, even cayenne for "hotness" or lust, cloves for a content home/life together stuff like that.
Whisper to the herbs and tell them what you need them to do.
Ive heard of using crystals too to keep on the altar in conjunction with the work.
Like ConjureLady said, there are a lot of different ways to do it, but ultimately, personal concerns of yours and the target are pretty key.

I am glad thor is helping you. If you do a sugar jar with the foto, then you may be able to get close enough to him to get some kind of personal concern to use in a honey jar to keep the romance going.
thanx barbi. i shall start a sugar jar with his photo. he needs to open up to let me in his world. i tell you if he let me in, i would make him fall for me coz i am sure the kind of person i am he would surely feel close to. but he needs to open up first. i believe sugar jar will help me in this case. i would start a sugar jar today.

everyone keeps saying shake the jar but with melted wwx on it that is sticking on the plate that my jar is on if i shake my jar the wax will break! also my honey has become super thick now because of the herbs inside that its bbarely moving its become stuck.
does anyone have any solutions for me?
I roll my jars and chant my intent 5 times, 3 to 4 times a day. The candles give energy to my spell. I only leave on the jar what has melted to it. The rest gets tossed. I have hung charms that are personal or unhque to the jar after the 3 weeks of burning candles. I roll or shake for lack of a better word every day though for best effects. I started my sugar jar today with cinnamon sugar rose petals his and mine photograph and a petition. i stick both pictures facing each other with red wax. N kept ij petition. hope it works.
I started with a pink candle. and for 1st 3 days will burn pink and then red.
MY candle burns fine leaving no leftover. FLame was bigger than usual and firm of more than 2inches flame. I noticed twin flame a few times.
This time i let my mom know that i am working on a wishing jar and no one should touch it. My mom says i have gone mad lol. I dont mind being called mad when it comes to him i am mad. :). I am burning birthday candles as bigger candles are not available in market i wish by christmas i would find bigger candles.
Please let me know what to do with my previous honey jar? Shall i keep it n keep working on it too or dispose it? And how to dispose it as i live in an apartment and have no front or back yard. Also no river nearby.
Uh. I beleive the foto is ok since you didnt actualy have it in the honey jar. I have a question about the petition though. Are you saying you used the same words or the actual paper from the honey jar? I guess its gonna have to be ok. Rinse every thing you can from the honey jar down the drain. Keep what you can and toss the rest. Back to the earth.
