You litterally had me laughing for five mintues after the "A+ for creepiness," thank you deeply for your response, so far incense hasn't helped so I'll work on getting sage for the cleansing.
Incense. Okay. I'm sure he felt a lot like I do when I walk into the perfume section of a department store. Many people run from that too.
Incense is like smoking out a fox. But when the fox leaves the hole, if you don't want him coming back, you have to seal him out. You probably made him leave but then he just walked back in again.
What you need to do is protect all four walls, your door frame and your window frame after you sense that the presence leaves. Every month or every sabbat (if you're pagan) do the protections again.
I also like protecting the bed with an amulet under the mattress just to be sure. A neat little one I have my daughter do is the three red leaves spell. You may be able to still find some red leaves.
Three Red Leaves Protection Spell:
Begin by gathering 3 red leaves from any plant, bush or tree. Lay the leaves on a flat surface to form a triangle. In the center of the triangle of leaves, place a lighted candle. On each leaf, place a few drops of chrysanthemum oil.
Speak aloud the following words three times:
Red leaves, gift from earth,
Birth to death and death to birth,
Keep all evil far away,
Day to night and night to day.
When you have spoken the words three times, extinguish the candle and wrap the leaves in a white cloth or place them in a white pouch. Place the packet under your mattress or near your bed within three feet of your head for protection against nightmares and invasions of evil.
I never use the chrysanthemum oil. I have used a variety of oils and still had perfect success, even one I make myself by cold infusing herbs in olive oil. Just as long as they have protective properties. I've also used bay leaves instead of red leaves.
It's diffcult findingred leaves nearby even at this time of year, but bay leaves would work seamlessly, as well as the olive oil. Does the size or color of the candle modify the spell in any way?
When i was a teenager my dad had hurnia surgery and the night before he went in, he confided in me that he was scared he would die in the hospital. I too, then was worried. That night i awoke around 3 am to find his dads ghost sitting in a chair that was not physicaly there, in my room with his hands intertwined leaning forward. Looking at me. As if standing gaurd. Or letting me know it will be o.k. Dont worry. Everything was fine with the procedure but my grandpa had passed away ten years prior to that. 3 months after my grandma did. He just didnt have the will to go on without her is what they said. They were burried side by side in the masonic cemetary with jewish and rebekkah symbols on their headstones.
I'm sorry about your grandfather, but at least they were Inhumed together. Not to mention you now know he is watching over you and your father, which is always a pleasant feeling to have.
