Well said Brysing, and magic is not a religion either. To find your "true" religion write down your beliefs. Ponder such things as an afterlife, monotheism verses polytheism, sin, etc.... Then do some research into various religions and their core beliefs.

I don't understand how people can be told what to believe. As children maybe, but as an adult, you need to decide what you believe. Then you can either research to see if what you believe matches any religion or just be you. Most people, even that belong to a particular "belief" have their own personal gnosis.

Soul searching for faith starts within.

We'll first let me say that all of these responses have been helpful, and will be takin into consideration, but before I found Wicca or paganism I was athiest I dont belive in a certain god nor that there is a higher power I more so want to make sure that before I choose what branch of paganism I would like to follow that I learn more branches to not be limited to what I know so wih that being said if anyone would like to just tell me about there paegen interest and alittle about what they repersent id be glad to listen :)

I am plagued with the same problem. I still haven't found an ideal religion but I'm sure I'm getting closer. Study everything you can and find your path.
That being said I do know firmly what I believe and I'm not sure there's any religion that I can fit into. I see the spirits as my guides and there are spirits from every religion. They exist on their own particular planes of spirit. I also think that all spirits have the capability of becoming god/desses if given enough spiritual energy.
